Free Application for Student Aid

SENIORS!  Now that your college applications have been submitted, it is time to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, commonly known as the FAFSA.  Although many families may not qualify for federal aid, the FAFSA needs to be filed to determine financial aid packages and qualify for low interest student loans for college.  In addition, some scholarships require FAFSA information to apply.

Step 1:  Both you and your parent need to create a FSA ID…go to the FAFSA link on the Guidance page at

Step 2:  File the FAFSA…you will need 2016 tax forms, your FSA ID, and your parent.  File as soon as possible as every college has its own deadline.  Whatever college you want to attend, we want to assist you!  During Parent-Teacher Conference Night help will be available to complete the FAFSA.  Between 5 and 7 pm., families are invited to attend the “Bethel BEE file your FAFSA” session held at the Sinclair Learning Center.  So get ready with your FSA ID, get set with your 2016 tax forms, and GO to the Sinclair Learning Center between 5 and 7pm on Thursday, November 16th!!!
